The Presidents’ Circle

The Presidents’ Circle asks for donations to commemorate “NYAVA’s 25th Year Anniversary” and create scholarships to support memberships for those who cannot afford to join NYAVA otherwise. We are asking for $25 donations (or multiples of $25) to commemorate 25 years. This initiative will continue beyond 2023. All are invited to contribute whatever amount they choose because NYAVA looks forward to providing scholarships in the future.

Thanks go to NYAVA’s third president, Sheri Wilensky Burke, for The Presidents’ Circle idea. The new initiative was announced at the 2023 Annual Members Meeting on November 14th. During 2024 an Ad Hoc Committee created an outreach strategy, application, and vetting process to identify recipient(s). NYAVA will announce the scholarship recipient(s) each year as long as donations can cover the cost.

General Donation Fund: Donation funds applied to NYAVA operating costs

Operating costs include:

• Payment for workshop speakers

• Payment for business entities

  • Website host, board insurance, Post Office service, bank fees, Zoom account, Domain name, etc.

NYAVA is accepting end of the year donations. Please consider a Donation before 12/31/2024.

NYAVA is tax-exempt under 501 (c) 3 of the Internal Revenue Code. Your donation to NYAVA is tax deductible to the extent allowed by law.
